I would like to report the unprofessional e-commerce practice that Biba.in is indulging in.

I had ordered 2 set of salwars on July 25 from Biba.in and paid the full amount using Credit Card. The shipment reached me on time, however I had to return one top since it wasn’t to my liking. I called their customer care number on July 29 (date of receipt of goods) and since they didn’t pick up I sent them an email. After no response I called & wrote to them again on Aug 5. They still didn’t seem to care to respond, after which I resorted to Social Media and went to their Facebook page. Over there I read about 20 other complaints from customers who have shopped online awaiting refunds. I posted my issue there and they responded saying they will address the issue. I received a call from their customer care saying that their phone lines have been down and they are working on resolving it. What I don’t understand is how long can their phone be down -for weeks??? And how does this issue prevent them from replying to emails???

After this call someone came home and took the piece I wanted to return providing me with a return receipt. Since that day I have been following up with Biba on my refund via their Facebook page (since it is the only form on communication they seem to respond to!).

On August 20 I received an email from them stating that the refund has been initiated and it will be credited within 5-7 working days. However, I haven’t received anything yet. And I have tried posting my grevience on their Facebook page for days together and all I get is “Your issue has been escalated and someone will reach out to you as soon as possible”. No one has reached out to anybody.

I am attaching the last email from them for your reference.
