I traveled from Kolkata to Bangkok flight 6E-77 on 6th Aug 2016 at 20:45 hrs.along with two Non-Indian friends. There were only two counters operating at that time. On one there was a man and other there was a lady (The one who cheated us – I suppose Indigo can identify this lady using these details).
At the counter, we requested her to provide seats for all 3 of us together. She checked the system and informed that there are no such seats available. She said if we want to sit together then we have to book seats from row number 12. (which has extra leg space) at the cost of 1000/- INR for each seat.(Total 3000/- INR). At this time i never doubted her credibility and agreed to pay the additional charges.
After boarding the flight, we noticed that there were other seats available where all 3 seats together were vacant. (I remember one such empty seat throughout the journey was row number 3 ABC).
This unprofessional and cheap tactics to sell extra leg space seats in front of my foreigner friends not only brought a bad name to the brand ‘Indigo’ but also to India
