Hi, We booked UBER cab today (June 21, 2015) from Kalkaji DDA flats to Chattarpur Mandir, at the time of booking the amount was showing 300 maximum but when driver took a long route and it cost us 368. Then the driver told us that he will wait for us for a return trip for half an hour (which we didn’t asked for), so after half an hour he called me and asked us to book a return ride we tried so many times but their system had some problem and it was showing some error. Then the driver came with his cab and asked us to sit inside and then we can try and he started the cab. In between we tried again many times to book a ride but it failed again.

And finally we reached our destination and driver demanded Rs. 700 for a 12 KM ride, he was saying that 300 is for ride and 400 will be his incentive. We tried to negotiate but he was so rude that he didn’t agree to anything what we asked. And he took 600 finally instead of 300.

  1. Since you did not ask the driver to wait, there was no need for you to avail the return service from the same driver more so when you were not satisfied with the fare for your first booking. There was no need also for you to follow the driver’s instruction; you could have simply avoided the service. You also had the option of clarifying the fare while boarding as you were unable to book the cab through their system.
