I purchased a washing machine from whirlpool in May’ 2014. Soon After the purchase it started giving trouble and the same trouble occurred several times in warranty period of 2 years. Each time service centre technician visited and adjusted the parts/setting, once renewed one part also but they never found out the root cause of the problem.
Now when the product is out of warranty, same problem is still occurring and for the first instance only, service technician renewed the concerned part. Same problem occurred thrice in 10 day period and now they say to send the machine to company workshop for repair on my (customer) expense which they never suggested in warranty period.
Kindly suggest what should I do? The product had some inherent problem in it since the time of purchase and even after repeated complaints, the service technician only rectified the surface problem and never looked into the root cause. And now when I am to bear the service cost, they want the product to be repaired exhaustively.
Please suggest me how to advance in this matter? Till now I have not initiated any claim, negotiation / talking a with whirlpool
