I ordered an Apple MacBook from Paytm. It was delivered to me on 15th October 2017 but the product had a defective software. I was not able to use it as the screen froze when switched on. So, I filed a return and they took the product back on 16th October. After that a replacement order was placed on 16th october.
This order was to be delivered on 22 October but I haven’t received my product yet. I talked to their customer care executives and they said that they have escalated the issue to the team which is being worked upon. But even after 9 days past delivery date they have no clue as to what happens next. Neither have they provided any information regarding my order being processed or being re-ordered and they also refused to cancel it.

Their excuse is that this is a child order (replacement order) and thus cannot be cancelled.

I mean this is pure harrassment, first they sent me a defective product and then they didn’t deliver the replacement order and still are not ready to cancel the product. They aren’t even providing me the option to cancel from my side.
Also, the payment was on EMI, paid through credit card so the bank has started charging me the EMIs. I talked to the bank and they said that they cannot stop the EMIs as the payment has been done.

Now, I am here without the product , paying EMIs and totally frustrated.
