My complaint is on a restaurant by name ‘Punjabi By Nature’ which is near to Forum Mall, Koramangala, Bengaluru. Being in IT world, we usually go out to restaurant’s as a team, on one such occasion we planned to go for ‘Punjabi By Nature’ a fine dine restaurant near to Forum Mall, Koramangala, Bengaluru.
Since few of us had itchy throat we opted for bottled drinking water, in total we had ordered 3 ‘Kinley’ mineral water each of 1 liter. After we completed our lunch & requested for a bill we were shocked to see that they had charged us Rs. 91 per 1 liter bottle! So for 3 1 liter bottle’s they had charged us a GRAND Rs.273! Apart from that they also had dared to add 5% GST for even 273, so total cost for 3 1 liter bottle of water was a staggering Rs. 286. To give an idea what extra we were charged: the bottle had an MRP of just 19!
And above all when we questioned the Manager about the same he informed us that Hon’ Supreme Court has given a separate instructions to them that they can charge their customers with no limits (literally) for the service they have provided.
I request the concerned to take a strict action against the above mentioned restaurant. I have also attached the bill for the same.
