Samsung service is demanding ladder to be provided by customer in order to inspect their Split AC unit which kept outdoor. The unit height was recommended by Samsung engineers during installation and now they are asking to provide ladder and without that they will not do service.
However, they charge Rs 500 for just checking the unit. Recently (Feb 2016) they serviced the unit and fixed it without providing the ladder. Then after rain on 16th May 2016, the outdoor unit stopped running. It is also a poor service that they didn’t fixed the unit properly
We registered the complaint (Complaint number 4214246421) on 17th and they visited on 18th May 2016. They refused to inspect the unit without ladder and service person claims that, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide ladder and comfortable position to inspect the unit.
I attached the detailed communication sent to customer support. No response yet and Service person still demanding ladder. Only in India such a service support…:-(
