Shopclues refuses replacement of defective Iphone

I have order IPhone 4S on sep 25 and received the product on 5th of oct 2015. Once received immediately self opened the box and switched on the phone but phone gave no response. So, i charged the mobile battery & tried to switch it on again no response. ON the same day i sent a request for refund to the shopclues. Received the message from them by saying 48hrs required for the refund.

After 48 hrs i received a email from shopclues that my request is rejected.

I contacted customer care, the way of talking of the rep is totally horrible and very rash. They don’t want to give solution, asked me to go to service centre and get it rectified. I’m requesting all the on line shoppers to please think twice buying from Shopclues in future.
