I bought a Sony mdr-zx110 series headphone from Snapdeal, which was covered under 1 year of Sony India warranty. The order number being-6830879276 and the item code being-KB114901. It was delivered at my mentioned address and I got an invoice of the same from Snapdeal dated 20th June 2015.

The headphone started having some defect after using it for 3 weeks. I went to the Sony service centre in South Kolkata they refused to do any kind of service to my product as I was not provided with the brand box of my product , and it was necessary for providing service under warranty. I called up Sony customer care only to find out that the seller from which Snapdeal delivered me the product is not an authorised Sony Dealer. Therefore, my product is resistant to all kinds of service which should have been provided…

This act of selling unauthorised products by Snapdeal and misrepresenting it as a genuine product is very much misleading and has caused a lot of harassment. Please look into the matter to prevent Snapdeal to do this kind of misleading advertisement of unauthorised products.
