I bought a Sony mobile on 4th August. Suddenly after 3 days the phone’s flash stopped working. Company’s policy was that if there is a problem with the hardware within 7 days of purchase then the device can be replaced at the service center. I submitted the device with Prachi Electronics on 9th August at 4 p.m. and requested the service center to replace the phone. They said if it is a software problem then it will be rectified in 2 hours but if it is a hardware problem then it will take 10 days’ time. I enquired with the customer care after two days and came to know that the phone is under repair. I was then told that the phone will be replaced only when they issue DOA but they did not issue DOA for my phone. Customer care said the service center is not giving DOA as they received the mail late from the Seller. Due to this they are not giving replacement.
