Uber India has charged me for the trip which I never took. 23rd of Nov I have tried to book cab which was not successful. Next Monday at early morning I have tried to book a cab and I was given message regarding the pending amount, since my card details are saved in Uber I have paid it without checking the amount and later I realized that I have paid 874 INR. Upon checking the trip details I could see that the trip covered a long distance and ended up in some highway. This Obviously shows that the driver had committed some malpractice. How can he drive the cab without rider for such a long time. Following are the things I would like to be addressed by Uber India.
1. Refund my amount, since I never took the ride i would like to get my full amount back.
2. How can a driver start or take the ride without even calling my number and pick me.
3. If really they can do it, how safe is my personal details and app.
4 It is more than 14 hours I have reported this to Uber and till now there is no response from them. It is not your responsible to address the customer?
