Unfair tactics by Samsung service center in repairing refrigerator

My Samsung refrigerator model RT 26 FCTR, Serial# R0084PABA00769D had cooling problem. We called the customer care and given a complaint.

This call was forwarded to Anish Techno Services one of the Samsung Authorized Service Center, they tried repairing the product. However the problem was never fixed. Later after two days they have taken the fridge to their Service Center stating they need to special tools for repair and they cannot to carried to customer location.

After a week when we called to check the status, they said the fridge is unrepairable and we would get some refund.
Someone from Samsung called and have done some negotiations and finally agreed on a refund of 44% of the amt paid at the time of purchase.

A representative came took a cancelled check leaf, address proof and ID proof for the refund to be processed.
After patiently waiting for almost a month now the service guys claims that the serial number has scratches and Samsung is not authorizing the refund.

It is very evident that the service center guys who have taken the refrigerator have manipulated and misleading Samsung. For whatever reason we are the one who is suffering.

The refrigerator external condition was very good and we have even taken the pics before it was taken by the service people. Very sad to know that now you are coming up with reasons and trying to avoid refund.

I have taken this to my heart and will take up with all possible channels.
