I had my flight booked under booking reference GFLBPE on 04 Dec 15 onward and 06 Dec 15 return for flight from delhi to hyderabad and back for 2 adluts and 1 infant. My flight timing was 18 55 and I would have reached the indigo counter at domestic airport for collecting boarding pass at 1820. I was late by only 5 minutes that too due to heavy traffic in Delhi which was beyond my control. The lady there refused to accommodate us stating that we were late and gates have closed. Inspite of my request that the travel was very important and I had infant with me they did not help me. Further when I requested them to accommodate us on subsequent flight which was scheduled at 2020 they refused stating that there are no seats. As per policy my coming late the company has right to deny me entry, but they could have atleast accommodated me. I came to know the company Indigo could have allowed me entry, but since the company had overbooked the flight they denied me entry, which helped the company make double profit. The Indigo did not accommodate me in subsequent flight since that was also overbooked. This is not done. I request that my concern should be taken up at appropriate level and I should be refunded back my full cost of travel and such denial by way of overbooking should be checked. Futher due to this the cost paid by me for hotel stay at hyderabad was also lost as they refused to refund me. I should be compensated for my financial loss and mental agony what self and family has undergone. thank you.
