Unsolicited HDFC Debit Card linked to bank account

Recently i got a message debit card ending 6002 is ready to use dine …..etc. I thought it would be a wrong message to my mobile number.

After a day i was surprised seeing debit card ending 6002 has been used to pay bharathi airtel limited for Rs 2498.77. and my account has been debited.

When i dont have debit card ending 6002 and has been debited to my account .. its a fraud.

When i call HDFC guys they say the card is dispatched on my name. if i ask them to let me know the dispatch date and time and the receiver they tell they need to investigate.

How safe is our accounts in HDFC?????
