I am B. Srikanth, my Vodafone number is xxxxxxxxx. My parents were using this number since 15 years and they haven’t recharged the phone since 3 months but number is in active mode & it got incoming calls. Unfortunately Vodafone team had blocked the number without any intimation and allotted to somebody.
We have given this number to many of our relatives and friends as we have been using since 15 days. Finally we need our number to be back on my name and immediately block that number. When we contacted Vodafone team , they are telling that as per the Troy rules they were deactive the number but the number was in usage and it was getting incoming.
Please escalate this issue with Vodafone and do the needful. I would like to know how you can deactivate the number when it is getting incoming calls.
You would have called to that number explained the scenario that you are going to deactivate the number.
