This is regarding the a service of vodafone.
I lost my phone on 19th july. Thief used my number for calling on 20th July. Later on, i blocked my number on 20th july around 10 pm.
Now i am asking the calling details from vodafone of 20th july so that it can help me in finding the phone. However they are saying that we can not give you. you will receive the same at the end of the month. I then called their nodal officer who suggested to me to change the billing cycle to 25th july so that i can get the details atleast by 26th of july isntead of 2nd of auagust.(my billing cycle is from 1st)
I then again called/dropped an email to customer care and asked to change the billing cycle immediately. I have then received a call from their customer care representative that it has been changed and the ref. no. is 106464100 .
However then again on 24th july , i received an email saying it can’t be changed as you have a corporate sim.
I am now very worried that if i receive my calling details after 10 days it will be too late. I have already lodged a police complaint and they said it will take time for them to track the imei. However one of the officer suggested me to get the details of your own number.
My question is why can’t i get my own calling details which they anyhow gonna send me after 10 days. Why can’t they help their customer to find their phone.
Technology is there to ease the life. Why they are not using the technology to help their customer. After 10 days , it would be too late for me as till that time i do not know where will be my phone. Its a brand new phone which i purchased 20 days back.
