We wanted to port 6 nos. from BSNL to Airtel and applied on 12/02/15. Only 3 nos were ported on 2/3/15 and the rest were rejected. The reason attributed by Airtel was non payment of bill. Subsequently we understood that the correct reason was that they jumbled the UPC codes of the rejected 3 nos.

Subsequently we generated 2 sets of UPC codes on 2/3/15 and 20/3/15, since the validity expired. To our shock we understood that both these were not at all forwarded by Airtel branch to their MNP divn.

We had to coordinate with the MNP depts of Airtel and BSNL in seeing that the Porting was finally effected on 01/04/15.
Even during this waiting Airtel representative informed 1 out of 3 SIMs was not working and he would replace it the next day. Every time when we contacted he assured to deliver but failed to do so. Today after Porting was effected and when one SIM was not working,  we contacted Airtel, they said they cannot deliver the card immediately and they can do so only when the person is free and if at all if we wanted it immediately we could get it from their branch.

All these days we were blaming BSNL and on 25/3/15, we met DGM, BSNL. Only then we came to know that all the blunders were on the part of Airtel and to save their skin they were lying to us. When we briefed our plight to Airtel complaint cell, they would recommend strict action on those people responsible, but nothing happened.

I feel totally cheated and undergone mental agony for the last 50 days and feel that concerned persons in Airtel should be punished and Airtel should compensate for the mental agony.
