On 12 December, 2015 I placed an order with Amazon India, Order No. 403-5893369-3097143. The item ordered was 1 pair of collared T-shirts( Softwear Women’s Andhra Melange-Maroon 7-Buton Collared T-shirt-Medium sold by the Handsome Apparelss) worth Rs. 748 and the payment mode was COD.
On 20 December the package was delivered but it did not contain the products that I had ordered. Instead of Collared T-shirts, 2 packets of capris were delivered. I immediately contacted Amazon and they said that the seller would contact me.
On 21 December, i got an email from the seller which said that I create a return request and once my parcel is picked up from my end, they will refund the amount. So, as suggested I made the return request.
On 25 December, I again emailed the seller via amazon site citing that I have made the return request but yet haven’t got any feedback from the seller’s end and that when are they going to send the pickup personnel and when am I going to get the refund. I also contacted Amazon and got a call from Customer Service. The Customer Service personnel told me that no one was coming for the pick up and that I had to take the burden to self ship the package to the seller after which they will issue me a cheque with the refund amount. I told him that it was the seller’s mistake that I got wrong product and if they can send someone to deliver wrong package, they should send someone for pickup of the same, as well. All I got in reply was that the seller do not have facililty yet to send pick up in my area. This is an absurd thing to say as to the same pincode the seller, in the first place, had sent the wrong package.
On 26 December, I got an email from the seller saying the same thing that they cannot send someone for pickup to my pincode.
I am being extremely harassed. It is not my responsibility to self ship the product as it is the seller’s fault. Further, I do not have time for all this. Please take some action against Amazon India and the Handsome Apparells.
