I placed an order online with Rediff Shopping for binoculars. The posted the product name in their website as ‘Premium Sakura Binoculars’, and also mentioned the same name in the order details which I received after order confirmation and payment made against the order No. 11842188. I have got delivery of a wrong product against the order. The product delivered carries the name ‘Sakura Binoculars’ printed on the container in stead of ‘Premium Sakura Binoculars’. I feel they have delivered a cheaper product than that posted in website and mentioned in order details. I informed their customer support about the same. However, they are refusing to take any responsibility, saying that more than 48 hours have passed after the delivery, till I raised the issue to them. How a company can operate with such unlawful and cheating attitude? After all, it was their mistake that they have delivered a wrong product to a consumer. Please suggest.
