Hi I have been victimized by YU televentures, Plot21/14, block A, Nariana Industrial area, Phase2 New Delhi 110028.

I had purchased their Yureka smart phone on 12 Feb 2014, it got delivered on 15ht feb 2015. On checking I realized that the phones proximity sensor is not working. I immediately called their customer care and asked for a resolution. They asked me to wait for few days as a new software would be released in few days which will resolve this “known” problem. A ticket no TT13243 was given

I kept calling them and kept getting same reply till 14th march, then I was told that the handset will be replaced. I got a replacement handset on 19th march and on checking this one I found that the microphone is not working, This means the phone is absolutely unusable. I again called up the customer care on 20th march and again they told me to wait till 31st march as a new software update will be released by then and resolve this issue. I kept patience and waited. This time a new ticket was given, YU41316.

Nothing happened till 1st april and i called them back on 2nd april. Again i dod not get much response and i am being asked to wait and no replacement will be made. On insisting I was told that a senior customer care officer will call back in next 24 hrs. But I haven received a callback.

I keep calling them I donot get any resolution i just keep getting new ticket numbers and request to wait for more time. Ticket nos are YU60491, YU47657, YU 47656, YU47420.

This is blatant cheating and malpractice, exploitation of consumer, failure to serve the customer and violation of customer rights. I have paid 9000 rupees 2 months back and I dont even get to use a phone or get it replace. how can they take money in advance and as us to wait for so long.

I would want a full refund with interest applicable, kindly help please.
