Complaint against furniture shop for delivering defective product

We have purchased Polo dining table with 6 chairs in nandamakkam trade centre on 26-March-2017 paying an advance amount of Rs.8000, total amount Rs.33000. He had to deliver the product after 15 days but he didn’t deliver it. After a lot of nagging he delivered the product on 8th May 2017 at 11pm in the night. We paid the remaining amount Rs.25000. We found that underneath plywood remained in the same manner no finishing was done. We called him and asked he said it will remain like that. After a long struggle we sent whatsapp pic’s he said he will do. But he didn’t send anybody. His mobile is not working. I had filed a complaint in one more forum Consumer But i don’t know what that guy spoke my account is blocked. He is a tactical guy doesn’t do work. Frustrating if i get a good product why will i complaint on him. My hard earned money is wasted because of this. The dining table want last even 3 months. The rough surfaces are hurting and if water falls it will completely be wasted as there is no finishing and no paint. One leg is also not fitted properly. On chairs paint is worn out. He is telling that even in trade centre this is how the product is displayed. Buying furniture from local dealer has led to waste of my time and money.

    My furniture is not as was asked to make
    I had asked white laminated furniture and he has delivered off white . Can we sue against him
