This is Ashwini, I am based in Singapore, during My travel from Singapore to Delhi, I have used makemytrip for my onwards Domestic Flight from Delhi-Jpr; as follows
2XAir-ticket booking with Makemytrip , Delhi-Jaipur (Two way/Return ticket) MakeMyTrip Booking ID – NF2524119467060, Booking was done dated Wednesday 5th Sept 12. Flight was booked for date 1 Dec 12 Delhi (Dep): 15 Dec 12 (return from Jaipur.)
During this Period from 5 Sept 12 to 30 Nov 12 I have called Makemytrip customer service more than 10 times to confirm Flight status, due to ongoing operational concern with Kingfisher As we got few sms regarding flight cancellation with Kingfisher, all the time I called make my Trip I was informed well that my flight is very well scheduled on time & Issued me Revised confirmation e-tickets all the time:
Following are the Dates I have received revised Itinerary from makemytrip:
1. 1st Booking: 5th Sept 12
2. Rev Itinerary e-tickets: 1-Oct-12
3. Rev Itinerary; 2nd Oct 12
4. Rev Itinerary 9th Nov 12
5. Just day before my flight: 30th Nov 12
All the time makemytrip team confirmed my flight status as confirmed Going. I have regularly asked them to Ps confirm In case flights are not going Ps refund my money & I could look for alternative transport, but all the time they confirmed flight status, & issued me confirmation tickets as above. But on the day I arrived Delhi around 10 pm, I was very much surprised to see closed kingfisher counter, I immediately run to make my trip counter at Delhi Airport & shockingly I was informed that flight is Not operational, I was stuck at the Airport, my wife was not well, we don’t have any other immediate available flights, makemytrip staff at airport are not at all in a mood to help us to arrange an alternate, Just keep on asking for money to book us with other higher end Airlines.
Finally we decided to stay back until morning, as this is not much safe to travel alone from Delhi airport, till morning we stayed at airport then choose another mode of transport to reach our Hometown. At kingfisher counter itself we have asked them to cancel the tickets as flight is not operational & refund us the money, they assured us that your money will be refunded by 15th Dec 12, but until today 26th Feb 13, I have not received my refund, I have contacted makemytrip more than 10 times each time doing expensive IDD calls going through your dull customer service process causing much $s to ask for my on refund but unfortunately I am not getting any firm response on refund. This is surely a major cause for mental as well as financial torture as I need to keep on calling them for money refund.
Compliant regarding the in-discipline caused by mkemytrip team and issuing wrong itinerary 5 times in a row for a non-operational flight, they cheated me like this. All these tickets were issued by makemytrip only, not by kingfisher, so in all cases it’s makemytrip fault for circulating wrong information and causing all mid night suffer to customer.
I am not concerned about other victims; I need justice and compensation for this indiscipline caused by them.
I have all the e-mail proofs to well justify my concern, need your immediate action against this along with my money refund.
All the calls made during this period were IDD calls, causing much expense.
I am really looking for serious concern to help me to get my money back. And some serious action against makemytrip.
I will wait for the justice at your end.
