Complaint against Reliance for non-receipt of recharge credit

I would like to file a major complaint against Reliance Ltd. For Fraud.

On 21-February 2013 6:32pm I recharged my account with Rs. 247 via a Retailer for 1GB 3g data and Rs. 150 Talktime. Afterwards I received two messages :

“Dear Customer,your account has been recharged with Rs.01, Amount payable is Rs247 Thank you.Reliance”

“Dear Customer, your request could not be processed. Please try again later. We regret the inconvenience. Reliance”

I didn’t get any Talktime or 3g data so I contacted reliance customer care. Firstly, It is very complicated to get to their customer care representative And Secondly I think it is very disappointing that Reliance places their fresher trainees in the Prepaid department who hardly understand any English nor can they communicate and solve any issues regarding their services.

Anyway, I still decided to co-operate with the trainee and told him the matter. The reply from the staff after a few minutes of interrogation was that there is a technical problem, please call after some time and we’ll be able to help. When I asked after how much time should I call back he said some time(not being particular here) – which bothered me as he was not able to specify the time.

I called again for the next 3 days and the response I got every time was that there is a technical problem and please call back after some time. Whenever I called I have to explain my case from scratch to a different reliance staff at least 15-20 times. And since today I told the customer care representative that on next call I want the complete redressal of my complaint and hung up.

Shockingly, for the past so 10 calls to the customer care not one call is being answered. This is the most cheap, unethical, unprofessional, childish thing anyone could ever do. I didn’t even got a complaint no. for my complaint.

Earlier reliance used to deduct my balance for vas osian sms pack (Rs. 20 per month) and Vas evolve(Rs. 1 per day) which I didn’t activate and have to do some tremendous research to deactivate these value added services. This is the reliance way to loot their customers (source: Google).

We the public must be really stupid to tolerate such behaviour. It has to stop.

I sincerely hope I get justice in this case as soon as possible.
