Complaint regarding defective shoe rack from Royaloak

we purchased a MILAN shoe rack from hosur road, roopena agrahara, bommanahalli, bengaluru, karnataka-560068 on 4th march 2017. The installation guy opened the box before installing it and he found that the piece is damaged, full of scratches and looks old. we asked him to stop the installation and replace the product, he said this issue will be handled by his manager and his manager will call us as he has raised a complaint and his name was Ixxxxxxr(installation guy). we did not receive any call from any of the manager of royaloak instead we have been chasing them since then but no action has been taken till date. everytime we call customer they avoid and promise call back which they never do. then we tried calling the shop people from where we purchased the product but everytime they make excuses like manager is in meeting, manager will callback.

After chasing them badly we received a call from one of the manager,after listening to the whole story again he promised a call back.Later he called to inform that one of the technician will go from royal oak to fix the problem,we said that we want product replacement.Manager said let the technician go and let him have a look on the product,based on that he will arrange for product replacement.later the technician called and said he is on the way to our house and he was coming to paint the shoe rack so that it can look new.My question is if i have paid for new product,then why will i accept such defective product.we want replacement of the product as we have paid for new one.when we shop cloth online and after receiving it we find it defective then we raise complain for replacement with the reason and pictures attached if its defective,then the item get replaced..right???Or do they tell that we will send a tailor to stitch it?Off course not…we should get the right product as we have paid for it.
At the time of purchase the shopkeeper promised to provide better service than online and assured that everything will be taken care by them.Now no one is turning up.Shopkeeper asks us to call customer care,customer care asks us to call shopkeeper.what should we do?we are working people,out of busy schedule we are running behind such people.we want strict action should be taken on Royal oak shopkeeper and the customer service of royal oakwe want immediate replacement of the defective product with a fresh new product.
