Complaint regarding Motorola display and touch servicing

I purchased moto x play mobile in oct 2015 from flipkart and it was Motorola’s commitment of 1 year mobile warranty with no physical damage. Within short span of 7 months its display and touch is not working. Thereafter i visited online customer care helpline centre for motorola. There it was told me by customer care executive to press power+volume down button. I tried that but it did not help me.

They asked me to visit service centre Name- B2X Mobile Vile Parle Address- Shop number 29, 2nd Floor, Prime Mall, Irla, Vile Parle(West), Mumbai-400057. I visited their on 13/05/2016. They asked me fill it with signature on it and wait in queue. As directed i did. When my name was called out i went. A lady attendant was attending me. She asked me my mobile, purchase bill, form provided by her and asked me my complaint. I told her that my display and touch is not working and told her that i have many important documents which should not be deleted while repairing mobile. (Those documents are fruits of my hard work and dedication ever since i purchased mobile). She gave mobile to enginner. Without even seeing mobile he blindly replied that they need to software mobile and my data would be lost. I requested them to get backup of my mobile data backup but they kept on saying that its company’s protocol to software mobile first. When i told him that if i am ready to pay for touch and display will i get my data back, surprisingly he readily told me yes and asked me to pay around Rs. 8000. Then i asked him that when you are ready to get my data back if i pay you then whats point of your warranty. He very rudely replied me that if you cannot afford to pay then you may get it repaired from some local shop in market and they can provide you with much better deals. Kept the form which i gave them with my signature and asked me to get it repaired from some local shop in market even when the mobile is in warranty.

Now, query and complaint is that isn’t the data of customer is important to Motorola. It is their fault that my mobile’s display and touch is not working even the mobile is in warranty with no physical damage. Don’t they respect the important flies i.e. data of customer. They are ready to get my data back in paid services then it is as simple as that they just want to extort money fro customer.

Thereby its my humble request to take strict action against such fraud company and do the needful to me. So that i get my data back and such company would not be able to extort money from customer hereafter.
