Complaint regarding refund from Snapdeal

On 22 Feb 2017 I ordered hp laptop battery from Snapdeal online shopping site.But when I didn’t get any update on getting the product I bought it from the market because of urgent need.But on 6th March after the expected date I got a message from snapdeal that there is a little delay and the product is reaching today.But when the product came I received it and paid cash of Rs.1600/- but after opening I saw it didn’t get fit into my laptop. Immidiately I opened the snapdeal shopping site and went through the option for returning the product as it was total uesless for me and there is no other option to contact snapdeal except 9212692126 which never accept the option ask by them I tried many times but useless only deducting STD charges and other contact was help@snapdeal.com. Then I sent a mail at help@ snapdeal.com and they then agreed to accept the product. But to my surprise I got an SMS that they have failed to pick up the product as they were unable to contact me. Whereas I was waiting for them at home and I didn’t get any calls from the person who was going to pickup the product.Then again I wrote to help@snapdeal.com then finally on 10th March 2017 pickup was done and the person who took it checked the product carefully and after matching it with the invoice went away. After accepting the product on 15th March I got a call from the snapdeal customer care. A person whose name was Axxxf as told by him said they are going to return back my product and they are not going to refund.

Firstly, once it is an easy 7 days money return policy. Secondly, after making quality check of the product within two days the bank procedure starts for the money return process.As it is mentioned in their money return option at help section.But after 6 days they are saying they won’t pay back the amount. So, I told him to connect me to your senior but he said he is the only authoriy and no one was there.

After 22 days of delaying the matter they are returning the product. I again sent an email at help@snapdeal.com but no use. On 19th March I got a call from the courier person that he again brought the product but I didn’t accept it.

Kindly, take some strict action against them.

    I haven’t got my refund till now.Until today I am still waiting for the refund.I have sent an email at writetous@snapdeal.com on 27th March 2017 but the matter is not yet resolved.

    Today is 11th April 2017 and still my problem is not yet solved.I got a mail from Snapdeal regarding this issue mentioning my concern has been solved.I don’t know what is going on.

    Today I am really very happy that with the help of Indian Consumer Forum I have got a refund from Snapdeal. It would not have been possible without their help. On 5th May 2017, I got an SMS from Snapdeal regarding the refund after a very long time. I must appreciate that Indian Consumer Forum is really very helpful for those who are unable to get their money back and suffers a lot.
    Such kind of company who promises many things during buying but they failed to keep their commitments during the return process. They take money immediately during buying but refuse to refund.
