False listing on Makemytrip regarding bus type

I booked bus tickets for 4 people on makemytrip.com. I booked an AC bus from Munnar to Bangalore and I was given a NON AC local bus instead.

The bus was NON_AC. The windows could be opened, with a vent in the roof which was open throughout 14 hours of journey and any AC, if it was there, wasn’t working. When I contacted Makemytrip, they dinot send any one to inspect the bus at all. They said that their vendor said that the bus was in fine condition. When I asked makemytrip people if they made any inspection themself, they said ‘no’.
Makemytrip listed false listing on thier website and cheating their customers for the same. I raised a complaint againt th issue within 24 hours of travel as per their guidelines. Makemytrip says they cannot do anything regarding the matter.

In their terms and conditions, it is clearly mentioned: “Incase of change in bus type or any issue related to bus operator , please bring in it out notice with in 24 hours of bus departure. We will investigate it with the operator and revert accordingly. The customer is entitled for refunds incase a lower bus type is provided subjected to our investigation.”

However, there has been no resolution. Makemytrip has been unprofessional and said they cannot refund my amount at all because ‘the vendor said the bus is in fine condition’. Makemytrip hasn’t verified the bus from their end at all and just talking to the vendor for clarification.

I’ve provided the bus number, kindly check which type of bus is listed under this registration id. A bus whose windows could be openend, which does not have AC, cannot be an AC bus.
