Louis Phillipe trousers color fade after first wash

I purchased two trousers from the Louis Philippe outlet situated in Phoenix Market City Mall, Kurla, Mumbai, on the 24th April 2016. The total value of invoice was Rs.4598/=

After the very first wash, there was colour fading observed in several places on both the garments. I had carefully followed the wash instructions as indicated on the garments. Detergent used was of the best quality (Surf Excel for Top Loading Washing Machine). Detergent quantity used was very little, as I was well aware that for new garments, colour may fade/run.

I took the garments to the outlet wehre I had purchased, & was told that they would send it to the company for “testing”. For 10 days there was no feedback, & finaly after I called them, they informed that the garment has been returned by the company but claim is rejected!

The report states reason for rejection as ” Colour fade due to usage of excess detergent and improper wash”

Louis Phillipe is a premium brand and the price they command is higher than most other brands in India. Obviously one expects best quality in th egarments, and for this reason I made the purchase, thinking that the product will be trouble free & long lasting.

I feel completely cheated by this bran & company.

Kindly take up the matter with them. Attached is the copy of invoice and complaint report.
