I am an Airtel mobile prepaid customer. On 20Fed 2013 around 3a.m at night I received a sms saying I have downloaded something called ‘fashion show’ & for that I was charged Rs5/-. I was neither downloaded such thing at night, nor connected to internet on that period of early morning. Next morning I called twice to 121 airtel customer care & requested for refunding money which they deducted. After 2nd request they refunded the money. Next day on 21st Feb 2013 same sms appeared on my mobile & Rs.5/- was again deducted. Again in the evening I called 121 customer care, & requested to refund the money. But this time they denied to do so. When I asked if they’ll continue this type of Unethical activity, the customer care guys promptly replied, they’ll continue such Unethical activity. More over that guy said- I can go to Consumer Forum & they care a damn. I eventually recorded entire conversation. The conversation was in Bengali & the mp3 file is attached.
