I bought a IFB Washing machine Executive plus model, few years ago. It was working fine. One fine morning, motor does not run in spin position alone. All other time motor runs in both directions. Service man told, motor is to be replaced. And done with Rs4000. But next day,i found water leak below machind. Opend the back cover and found outer drum is leaking. I have replaced at a cost of Rs3000. While inspecting,i noticed a small hole at one of the spot weld. Its clear manufacturing mistake. Due to this water leak, earlier motor got damaged.
