Unethical business practice by Airtel representative

I am writing to inform you about some unethical business practices by Airtel representative who has visited my place for mobile number port out. Your representative has taken Rs. 600/- cash for recharge for 3 months (which amounts for 597/-) as I did not have PayTm or GPay application. As per him, payment can be done online with the above 2 apps or cash. I have chosen to pay him cash as I do not transact on the application which are not Indian to avoid any malicious intension which happened with me earlier. I only deal with BHIM.

Now, I would like to inform that the person has taken cash and has not recharged my account/ phone. I have suffered a lot and could not attend an urgent meeting because I could not receive calls or messages from Microsoft 2 step verification. And I have recharged my no. through my other phone with my wife’s account. It was really a bad start with Airtel. I have ported my mobile from Vodafone postpaid higher RED plan due to network issues, but they were never unethical during my 6 long year association. I was about to go for your postpaid plan subsequently and I have chosen prepaid to check network and services initially.

To summarize, this has been a very bad start with Airtel. I have chosen Airtel over Jio against the explicit advice given by my family and friends. I was of the opinion that there should be a fair-trade environment in the Indian market so that any company doesn’t monopolize any sector. But from this incident, it seems Airtel does not believe in my ideas and is committing harakiri.

Please help me in this regard and ensure such instances will not happen with other Airtel customers in future
