Complaint Regarding Harassment by Credit Card Recovery Agent

I am writing this email to file a serious complaint against your credit card recovery agents who have been harassing and mentally torturing me and my family members over a credit card issued to my father.

The agents claiming to represent both HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank have been calling me, my sister, and even our extended family and society members from multiple random numbers. They are using abusive language, threatening tone, and foul words during these calls. Despite us informing them multiple times that they are contacting the wrong person and requesting them to visit us in person to resolve the issue, they continue to harass us over phone calls at all hours.

This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and a violation of RBI’s fair practice code for loan recovery. If this harassment continues, I will not hesitate to take the following actions:

File a formal police complaint under IPC sections related to harassment, criminal intimidation, and abuse.
Report this case directly to the RBI Ombudsman.
Pursue legal action against the bank and its recovery agents for harassment and mental trauma caused.

I demand the following immediately:
Cease all further communication with me and my family members.
Identify and take strict disciplinary action against the agent(s) responsible.
Provide a written response to this email with actions taken within 48 hours.

Failure to respond will force me to escalate this further through all legal and public channels.
