I purchased an Ola Electric scooter on 9 August 2024 for ?1,19,000. Since the date of purchase, the scooter has had continuous issues and has required eight (8) repair services within a very short period. This clearly indicates that the scooter has manufacturing defects, and Ola Electric has failed to provide proper service and a permanent resolution.
Despite repeated paid repairs, the scooter continues to break down again and again. The latest job card is still shown as “Work to Start / In Service”, with no proper update. This has caused severe mental stress, financial loss, and inconvenience in my daily life.
Below is the complete repair history, showing how many days the scooter remained in the service center each time:
RO240xxxxxx – Created: 05/09/2024 – Delivered: 09/09/2024 — 4 days
RO240xxxxxx – Created: 17/09/2024 – Delivered: 04/10/2024 — 17 days
RO241xxxxxx – Created: 14/10/2024 – Delivered: 14/10/2024 — 0 days (same day)
RO241xxxxxx – Created: 07/11/2024 – Delivered: 28/11/2024 — 20 days
RO241xxxxxx – Created: 27/12/2024 – Delivered: 27/12/2024 — 0 days (same day)
RO250xxxxxx – Created: 03/07/2025 – Delivered: 26/07/2025 — 23 days
RO250xxxxxx – Created: 28/07/2025 – Delivered: 30/07/2025 — 1 day
RO251xxxxxx – Created: 13/10/2025 – Still in service / No resolution provided
In total, my scooter has spent more than 65 days in Ola’s service center, which is completely unacceptable for a new vehicle. Even after so many repairs, Ola Electric has failed to fix the scooter permanently. This constitutes:
Deficiency in Service
Defective Product
Unfair Trade Practice
