I was misled into purchasing a life insurance policy from Shriram Life Insurance by two of their representatives who provided false assurances and incomplete information about the policy benefits. At no point were the actual terms and implications clearly explained.
After the policy was issued, I discovered discrepancies between what was promised and what was documented. I immediately attempted to reach the agents, but they became unresponsive, and ignored multiple follow-ups, especially over WhatsApp (screenshots attached).
I raised a formal complaint with Shriram Life’s customer support, but the company delayed responding until the free-look period expired. Their final response merely reiterated procedural limitations without addressing the clear case of mis-selling and deceptive conduct.
