Here are some of the complaints solved by us. There could many more that have not been reported to us. We request consumer members to report to us whenever a complaint is resolved.
Mr. T. Kumarasamy, ChennaiIFB washing machine repairs – Rs.27,350/-: Mr. T Kumarasamy of Chennai purchased a IFB Senorita Aqua washing machine from vasanth & co velacherry. On 16.11.2015 he registered a complaint with IFB service center since the washing machine was not working. A technician from from IFB came on 20.11.2015 and told the panel found faulty and it will be replaced by 23.11.2015 by IFB company since it is under warranty period. However, IFB closed the complaint without resolving the same and never attended to his complaints. Mr. Kumarasamy posted his complaint with ICF on 27-11-2015 and after follow-up with IFB, the machine was finally repaired on 22-12-2015.
Shikha Srivastava, Ballia, UPRefund from Recall Techno Estate – Rs.1,860/- : Ms. Shikha Srivastava, Ballia, UP paid Rs.2,394/- to Recall Techno Estate towards job offer call received from AGT India Career Services. However, after paying the initial money, she was again asked to pay more money which was not disclosed to her earlier. The customer asked for refund of money but the firm was not responding. She posted her complaint with ICF on 23-11-2015 and the matter was taken up with the company. She finally got her refund, after deduction of charges, by 11-12-2015.
Mr. Arnab Sircar, Kolkata, West BengalRefund from Housefull – Rs.4,420/-: Mr. Arnab Sircar of Kolkata, West Bengal had ordered for some furniture with Housefull. Out of many items one sofa was not delivered and Mr. Sircar raised a complaint with Housefull. Due to delay in delivery, the customer asked for cancellation and refund. However, the company did not respond or act even after many emails. The customer posted his complaint with ICF on 04-12-2015 and the matter was taken up with the company. The customer got his refund by 10-12-2015.
Mr. Sesha Sai Kuchibhotla, Hyderabad 500008, TelanganaRefund from Makemytrip.com – Rs.10,000/-: Mr. Sesha Sai Kuchibhotla, Hyderabad 500008, Telangana booked 2 student tickets on make my trip. Though the 3rd baggage was free for students on British Airways, he was charged Rs.10,000/- @ 5000 Rs per ticket. He raised a complaint with Makemytrip but it was not resolved even after 45 days. The customer posted his complaint with ICF on 12-12-2015 and the matter was taken up with Makemytrip. The customer finally got refund of Rs.10,000/- by 16-12-2015.
Ankur Saraf, Indore, Madhya PradeshNon-delivery by industrybuying.com – Rs.1,833/-: Mr. Ankur Saraf of Indore, Madhya Pradesh ordered Sony Headphones MDR450AP from the site industrybuying.com on 16-08-2015. Since then the company did not provide any kind of confirmation regarding Shipping or Delivery details either on cellphone or on mails. The company was not responding. Mr. Saraf posted his complaint with ICF on 18-08-2015 and the same was taken up with the Company and Mr. Saraf got the product by 26-08-2015.
Mrs. Sangita Poddar, MumbaiRefund from Snapdeal – Rs.4,598/-: Mrs. Sangita Poddar of Mumbai, Maharashtra had placed an order for Whirlpool microwave oven on 18-10-2014 with Snapdeal. The product was received in a damaged condition which was reported to Snapdeal immediately. Snapdeal was not attending to the issue properly and were giving non-committal responses. Mrs. Poddar posted her complaint with ICF on 21-01-2015 and the matter was taken up with Snapdeal. After many follow-ups, the issue was resolved to the customer’s satisfaction after refund was made with compensation (3-3-2015)
Mrs. Dhruti Desai, MumbaiRefund from Ekstop – Rs.1,150/-: Mrs. Dhruti Desai of Mumbai had ordered for 10 kgs moongdal with Ekstop 17-12-2014. Even though payment was made order was not delivered. She posted her complaint with ICF on 19-01-2015 and the matter was taken up with the parties concerned. Customer finally got her money back on 02-02-2015.
Mr. Anshu Tomar, Hyderabad, TelenganaRefund from Makemytrip – Rs.6,688/-: Mr. Anshu Tomar of Hyderabad, Telengana booked Spicejet ticket from Hyd to Del- SG226 (Travel date: 25 Dec 2014) & Del to Hyd ( Travel date: 4 Jan 2015)-SG235. He subsequently cancelled his Spicejet tickets on 24-12-2014 due to operational issues of Spicejet. However, Spicejet had cancelled the flights but this was not intimated to the customer by Makemytrip. He assured of a full refund but it was not coming through. He posted his complaint with ICF on 20-01-2015 and finally got his money back by 10-02-2015.
