I am writing this to formally inform you about a fraudulent transaction of ?5,000 that occurred from my bank account and to request a chargeback for the same at the earliest.
I was contacted for an interview opportunity, during which I was asked to make a payment of ?5,000. Later, I realized that the interview and the transaction were part of a fraud. The amount was transferred under false pretenses, and the transaction was not authorized knowingly by me.
Transaction details are as follows:
– Transaction Amount: ?5,000
– Transaction Date: 25/12/25
– Transaction ID / UTR Number: 11xxxxxx9
– Mode of transaction: UPI [google pay]
I have already filed a complaint regarding this fraudulent transaction on the Cyber Crime portal. Below are the details of the complaint:
Since this was a fraudulent transaction, I kindly request you to initiate the chargeback process at the earliest and help me recover the amount credited back to my account as soon as possible.
I have also tried reaching the nearest branch but due to last Saturday it was closed but I will try again on Monday.
