Loss of Sunglasses at Cult, Vijaya Bank Layout, Bangalore

I want to share my experience with Cult, specifically at their Vijay Bank Layout center in Bangalore, which has left me deeply disappointed both as a customer and as a member who has trusted them with my fitness journey.
On September 16th, between 9:30 and 10:00 AM, I lost my prescription sunglasses at the center. These are not ordinary sunglasses—they are powered lenses, expensive, and something I rely on daily for my rides and to address my eye condition. The loss happened in a matter of minutes while I had stepped away briefly to wash my face near the seating area. It was clearly not due to negligence but rather a lapse in security within the facility.
I immediately raised a support ticket with Cult the same day. Since then, I have followed up relentlessly: over 12–13 emails sent to. Despite all these efforts, I have not received a single meaningful update or resolution. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is shocking.
I did receive one callback, but it was insufficient and did not lead to any closure. What has been most frustrating is the absence of any escalation mechanism—nobody from Cult’s management or customer support leadership has reached out, nor have they provided clarity on why such a long delay persists.
This isn’t just about one pair of glasses. It speaks to a much bigger issue: Cult’s lack of customer centricity. I am also aware, through conversations with fellow members, that I am not the only person who has faced a loss of personal belongings at Cult centers. While I don’t have formal evidence of those cases, the mere fact that this seems to be recurring makes the silence and indifference from Cult even more unacceptable.
