Upon checking my bill inside the store, I noticed that I was charged ?151.90, which is significantly higher than the printed Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of ?145.00. Charging above the MRP is a direct violation of consumer protection regulations. Whereas same item is being offered at ?139.00 at Jiomart.
?When I immediately brought this discrepancy to the cashier’s attention and requested a return/refund for the item, my request was flatly declined. More concerningly, the staff members involved misbehaved and were extremely rude when I tried to point out the error. Instead of rectifying a clear mistake, they chose to be confrontational.
