Regarding non-exchange of undergarment by Reliance Smart Bazaar

I have received your response regarding the non-exchange of an undergarment item purchased from Reliance Smart Bazaar. I would like to respectfully raise a few valid concerns:

1. If a male customer purchases a product like an undergarment without trying it at the store, and upon reaching home finds it unfit or unsuitable, how is the customer at fault for returning it unused? There is no trial facility available for such items.

2. If Reliance Smart Bazaar has a policy of “No Exchange” for such products, then why is there no clear signage or written information at the store counter or near the product section? How is a customer supposed to know the policy before purchase?

3. There was no verbal communication from the staff about this non-returnable condition during billing or purchase. In such a situation, denying an exchange seems unfair and one-sided.

If this is truly your company policy, I would urge you to share a written copy of the policy, and also explain how this aligns with consumer protection guidelines.

If a fair resolution is not provided, I will have no option but to escalate this matter to the Consumer Grievance Forum or Consumer Court, as customers deserve transparency and fair treatment.
