I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Recon Cyber Security, based in Delhi, for false promise, mental harassment and unauthorized use of my personal photograph without consent.
I enrolled in their cyber security training program in 2020, based on their false promises of:
High-quality and structured training in cybersecurity domains like VAPT, Web/Mobile security, etc.
A 100% job placement guarantee upon course completion.
A valid course completion certificate and mentorship by certified trainers.
However, after paying ?45,000, and now over 5 years later, I have experienced the following:
The course has still not been completed, with no structured curriculum or qualified instruction.No certificate has been issued despite multiple follow-ups.
Trainers admitted they were not certified and lacked actual knowledge in the cybersecurity domain. My calls and messages have been ignored repeatedly by the institute.
In addition to this, they have committed a cyber offense by:
? Uploading and displaying my personal photo on their website without my knowledge or consent.
This is a direct violation of my privacy and personal rights under the IT Act (Section 66E and Section 72) and could cause reputational harm. I believe other students may also have suffered similar treatment.
Because of their false claims and behavior:
I have faced severe mental stress, career disruption, and financial loss.
I feel deeply harassed and betrayed by an institute I trusted to build my professional future.
I kindly urge you to:
Investigate Recon Cyber Security Institute, Delhi.
Take appropriate legal action under IPC and IT laws.
Ensure removal of my image from their website and prevent further misuse.
Help recover my fees and ensure no more students are defrauded.
