Refund from Makemytrip – Rs.11,000/- : Ms. Shrawani silwal of Bangalore booked Spicejet flight for 9thJan 2015. However, the flight was non operational and the booking for both ways got cancelled. Even after a month she did not get refund from Makemytrip or Spicejet. She posted her complaint with ICF on 08-03-2015 and the matter was taken up with MMT. Refund from Shopclues.com – Rs.848/-: Mrs. Sabahat Sisodia of Dwarka, New Delhi (sabahatsisodia[@]gmail.com) ordered a Blue Tooth headset on 23rd October with shopclues.com but the product was not delivered even after three weeks. Complaint regarding Shriram Transport debenture renewal: Arnab Sengupta, Koramangala, Bangalore, Karnataka (Email: dream_arnab[at]yahoo.com) posted a complaint on 14-06-2013 against Shriram Transport’s representatives/agents with regard to renewing his mother’s debentures. Due to the irresponsible act and inefficiency of the agents there was a delay of two months in renewing the debentures. Complaint against BSNL for not attending to broadband shifting application: Mr Amaresh Chandra Das of Kavoor, Mangalore-15, Karnatak had applied in June 2009 for shifting of his telephone with broadband to his new address. His application remain unattended till 23-09-2009 when he posted his complaint in the Forum. ICF took up the matter with BSNL officials who were kind enough to resolve the issue. Refund from Travolook – Rs.17,825/- : Ms. Niharika Pilla of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 530013 booked flight tickets from Srinagar to Visakhapatnam on 22/04/2021 for INR17825 and after payment she got a mail that the booking got cancelled due to rise in price and was told that the amount will be refunded within 10-15 days. Even after 15 days she did not get and submitted her complaint with ICF on 11/6/2021. Complaint against Reliance General Insurance / Medi Assist India TPA – Rs.32,643/-: Prashant Moda of Delhi (Email: modapkbl(at)rediffmail.com), had submitted his mediclaim bill with Medi Assist India, TPA of Reliance General Insurance in June 2009. The claim was not settled till January 2010 when he posted the complaint with ICF and ICF took up the complaint with Reliance/Mediassist. His claim was finally settled on 13-05-2010 for Rs.32.643. Non-delivery by Fitnessworld.in – Rs.6499/-: Mr. Sayantan Das of Howrah – 711101, West Bengal (sayantan_sou[@]yahoo.co.in) placed an order of Lifeline Manual Treadmill Basic Model from fitnessworld.in on 10/11/2014. The product was not shipped even after 10 days though the Fitnessworld gave false way bill numbers. Mr. Das posted his complaint with ICF on 25-11-2014 and the matter was taken up with the company. Customer charged for unsolicited debit card – Complaint against ICICI Bank: Dr. Boopathi Manickam of Madurai (psbmmba@yahoo.co.in) posted a complaint with ICF with regard to ICICI bank debiting charges on account of debit card issued by the bank but was not received by Dr. Manickam. Bank did not respond to his complaints. ICF submitted Dr. Manickam’s complaint to the bank and the charges were subsequently reversed. ICICI Bank - 30.12.2009

Discount money from Shriram Transport Finance agent – Rs.5000/-: Mr. Arnab Sengupta, Bangalore, Karnataka (dream_arnab[@]yahoo.com) posted a complaint on behalf of his mother with regard to non-receipt of discount/commission from the liaison officer of Shriram Transport Finance. However, the product did not give the desired service as mentioned on the website. The customer had repeately sent e-mails and was assured that they would arrange for reverse pick-up and refund.
