I am filing this complaint against the mobile application “HOORA” for engaging in unfair trade practices, making false promises, and showing a high level of deficiency in services. My registered mobile number with the app is 95xxxxxxx94.
The company recently changed its application interface without adequate communication. In the “Rewards” section, items such as Hoora Kit, Cushion, and Dashcam are shown as redeemable rewards. However, after redeeming these, there is no tracking option or confirmation of delivery. Customer support consistently provides misleading replies without any genuine resolution.
Additionally, the referral reward program is deceptive. Despite meeting all conditions and referring others, I never received the promised monetary or product rewards. Whenever I place orders, the company often fails to deliver through their designated partners and refuses refunds, offering misleading excuses instead.
This fraudulent and negligent behavior has caused financial loss, mental harassment, and waste of valuable time not only to me but also to my family members.
Reliefs/Prayer:
Immediate delivery of all pending rewards with proper tracking information.
Processing of pending refunds without further delay.
Imposition of penalty on the company for unfair trade practices under Section 2(47) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Compensation for deficiency in services and harassment under Sections 2(11) and 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Urgent intervention of this Hon’ble Forum.
