On 2nd July 2025, I was denied boarding on the Bangalore to Goa bus despite having a valid ticket. I was traveling with a rescued, injured bird (not a pet) under treatment, as I had no one to care for her in Bangalore. She was safely contained and silent.
I respectfully explained the situation to the driver and manager. All passengers supported me, yet I was told to “leave the bird and go.” I cried, pleaded, but was still left behind.
I understand your pet policy, but this was a humanitarian case. The staff showed no empathy, only rudeness. I urge FlixBus to acknowledge this, sensitize staff, and review policies for emergency rescue cases.
