During my tenure in Bangalore, I availed RO services from “Livpure” at my rented residence located at Electronic City Phase 1, Bangalore – 560100.
In May 2024, I was deputed overseas to Japan, which required me to vacate the rented premises. Accordingly, I raised a request to cancel the subscription and return the RO unit. Despite multiple calls from Livpure representatives urging me to refer friends and reconsider cancellation, I clearly communicated my intention to proceed. They acknowledged my decision but subsequently failed to respond or act on the cancellation.
I followed up with several emails and calls, requesting the device to be collected and my security deposit refunded. Although I was assured a pickup would be scheduled, no action was taken. Due to time constraints and my international travel obligations, I was forced to dispose of the RO unit.
Several months later, I began receiving threatening messages from a business WhatsApp account (+91-7xxxxxxxxx9) under the name “Puja,” demanding the return of the RO and warning of legal consequences. I provided her with all relevant documentation including emails and call recordings. However, she dismissed the evidence and continued to pressure me.
Despite multiple explanations and proof submission, the harassment has persisted every few months with renewed threats. I am a law-abiding citizen and have always conducted myself ethically. The original issue stemmed from Livpure’s failure to respond and collect the unit, and I have not received my security deposit due to their negligence.
This ongoing situation has left me distressed, and I respectfully request your assistance in resolving this matter and preventing further mental harassment over a situation beyond my control.
