Misrepresentation of Refund Policy: During the signing, my fiancée specifically asked about the exit and refund process since the agreement was difficult to understand. A representative named Sxxxl assured us that:
If we used their service for 7 nights and were dissatisfied, we could exit freely.
Only an administrative charge of ?25,000 would be deducted, and the balance would be refunded.
This was the only instance where this charge was mentioned, and it was presented verbally, not clearly stated in the agreement.
Concealment of True Terms: The merchant deliberately avoided explaining the detailed refund policy in writing, despite being directly asked. The agreement’s complex jargon was used to mislead and extract consent under false pretenses.
Pattern of Fraud – Not an Isolated Case: On reviewing public forums, Google reviews and the Cyber Crime Portal, I found multiple victims reporting the same fraudulent practices by Rangers Club. Many even have their contact details listed as suspects on the portal, which shows this is a repeated scam, not an isolated mistake.
They agreed to refund only after I raised a dispute and are now asking me to remove the disputes and giving up my right to raise a dispute and any future dispute to initiate my refund. Which are my legal rights and declined by me.
