ChanndaNagar, Andhra Pradesh - 20.06.2013Refund from Naaptol – Rs.4,373/- :
Abhishek Pandey of ChanndaNagar, Andhra Pradesh (Email: itsmeabhishekpandey[at]gmail.com) had placed an order with Naaptol on 28-04-2013 for Ultimate Sofa cum bed. The product delivered to him was defective and upon a complaint from Mr. Pandey Naaptol replaced the product with another piece. However, the replacement product was also defective. As a consequence, Mr. Pandey sought refund but Naaptol refused the same. He posted his complaint with ICF on 10-06-2013 and subsequently got his refund on or about 20-06-2013.
Koramangala, Bangalore - 20.06.2013Complaint regarding Shriram Transport debenture renewal:
Arnab Sengupta, Koramangala, Bangalore, Karnataka (Email: dream_arnab[at]yahoo.com) posted a complaint on 14-06-2013 against Shriram Transport’s representatives/agents with regard to renewing his mother’s debentures. Due to the irresponsible act and inefficiency of the agents there was a delay of two months in renewing the debentures. The complaint was taken up with Shriram Transport and was finally resolved on or about 20-06-2013.
Arambagh, Delhi - 19-06-2013Refund from Jetairways – Rs.9,114/-:
Pankaj Joshi, Arambagh, Delhi (Email: pankajjoshi_88[at]yahoo.com) booked a ticket with Jetairways, which was subsequently cancelled on 30.04.13 through online website and JetAirways generated refund receipt no.04914767635 of amount 9114 stating that amount will be credited within 7-10 working days. However, even after 40 days he had not received refund. He posted his complaint with ICF on 10-06-2013 and finally got his refund by 15-06-2013.
Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh - 07.06.2013Refund from 100besbuy.com – Rs.18,000/-:
Gowrishankar Ramadurai of Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh (Email: rgshankar76{at}gmail.com) booked three holiday packages with 100bestbuy.com against their offer Blackberry or Dell laptop. However, later he found that he is unable to avail any packages and he did not get the gifts. He posted his complaint with ICF on 20-03-2013. The complaint was taken up with 100bestbuy and after serious follow-ups by ICF and Mr. Ramadurai, the money was refunded to him on or about 07-06-2013.
Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh - 06.06.2013Short refund from Makemytrip.com – Rs.18,370/- :
Mohammad Azam of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh (Email: sahibeazam[at]gmail.com booked two return tickets on makemytrip.com few months ago by paying Rs.33,786. Subsequently, due to some personal issues he cancelled the booking. MMT informed that they he would get a refund of Rs.25,786 after deductions. However he got only Rs.7,016/-. He posted his complaint on 27-05-2013 and got the balance money on or about 06-06-2013.
Navsari, Gujarat - 24.05.2013Refund from Citrus Checkinns – Rs.20,000/-:
Mr. Vineet Mampilly of Navsari, Gujarat (Email: vineet.tm[at]gmail.com) paid on 15-04-2013 a sum of Rs.20,000/- on the basis of the vacation packages offered by the representatives of Citrus Checkinns. However, later he found that the offers were not valid and Citrus Checkinns failed to honor them. Mr. Vineet Mampilly requeted for refund of his payment. As the refund was delayed he posted a complaint with ICF on 18-05-2013 and after pursuing the complaint with Citrus Checkinns he got his refund cheque on or about 22-05-2013.
Ahmedabad, Gujarat - 20.05.2013Refund from Ebay – Rs.1,766/- : Mr. Kumar of Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Email: kumar6810[at]gmail.com purchased one Multi Sewing Machine on 13.01.2013. But the item was not delivered. He registered a complaint with Ebay but even after 45 days it was not resolved. He posted his complaint with ICF on 05-05-2013. After pursuing the matter with Ebay, Mr. Kumar got his refund on or about 18-05-2013.
Yepme - 03.05.2013Shillong, MeghalayaRefund from Yepme – Rs.1,280/-:
Mr. Sudhir Jena, Shillong, Meghalaya 793014 (drsudhirkumarjena[at]gmail.com) booked one item through online on dated 04/04/2013 vide order no is 1870949 which was not delivered even after repeated complaints. Therefore on 27.04.2013 he requested them to refund the money but the refund was not forthcoming. He posted his complaint with ICF on 02-05-2013 and finally got his money back by 03-05-2013.
