I had ordered 1kg talapia fish through Spencer App at the address Ruby Park Cooperative Housing Society Kasba, Kolkata 700078. The order was supposed to be delivered at the slot 6.30 pm to 10 pm on 26th May 2021 however, the order was delivered a day latter i.e. on 27th May 2021. I was ok with it since, this is a lockdown situation in Kolkata. But to my shock when I opened the package, the fish which was delivered were rotten with tremendous foul smell. We could not consume the fish and we had to throw it away. The product cost was INR 179. I had written a mail to Spencer support at the email ID customercare@spencers.in on 27th May 2021 and a follow up mail on 28th May 2021, asking for replacement. But till date there is no response from there end and hence, I have been bound to lodge this complaint. this is not about the amount of money but about customer service and ethics which a brand like Spencer may be losing. I request your intervention in this matter and assist to get my refund of INR 179. I have also attached copy of the mail that I had sent to Spencer.
It is not at all acceptable from a brand like Spencer. I have been a customer of Spencer for long but never faced such an issue hence, it came as a shock. I urge to arrange for complete replacement of the item on urgent basis.
