Refund from Naaptol – Rs.4,373/- : Abhishek Pandey of ChanndaNagar, Andhra Pradesh (Email: itsmeabhishekpandey[at]gmail.com) had placed an order with Naaptol on 28-04-2013 for Ultimate Sofa cum bed. The product delivered to him was defective and upon a complaint from Mr. Pandey Naaptol replaced the product with another piece. However, the replacement product was also defective. Refund from Subhbandhan matrimony – Rs.4,000/-: Mr. Harsimran Singh of Amritsar, Punjab registered with Subhbandhan matrimony services for suitable proposals by making a payment of Rs.4,000/-. As per the consumer, the agency provided fake number and contact for proposal was not genuine. Mr. Singh requested for refund which was denied. Refund from Travolook – Rs.11,281/-: Mr. Kamlesh Bajaj of Gandhidham, Gujarat 370240 booked tickets for the journey from Kanpur to Delhi on 24th Jan, from Delhi to Ahmedabad on 26th Jan, and from Ahmedabad to Kandla on 26th Jan, 2021 through Travolook, paying total amount of Rs.11,281.50. Refund from Flipkart – Rs.5,999/-: Mr. Dinga Sailo of Aizawl 796001, Mizoram ordered a mobile handset from Flipkart.com on 6th January 2015 for Rs.5999/-. When the parcel was deliver, he found journals and magazines instead of mobile device. He reported this to Flipkart but no steps were taken to resolve the issue. MakeMyTrip.com fails to pay full refund – Rs.1000/-: Mr. Soutik Das (das.soutik@indiatimes.com) of Kolkata had received Rs.1,000/- short against the cancellation refund of his air tickets booked through MakeMyTrip.com. Subsequently, due to some personal issues he cancelled the booking. MMT informed that they he would get a refund of Rs.25,786 after deductions. However he got only Rs.7,016/-.
