I had purchased the product -‘9 Perfect Battery Powered Sound Activated Singing Heartful Bird In Cage (Multicolor)’ from Flipkart on 20t Jan 2018. The price displayed on Flipkart for this product was Rs.650. While placing the order I had also paid Rs.40 extra as shipping charges. Hence the total amount paid was Rs.690. I had received the product on 29 Jan 2018 and could find that the actual MRP for the product is Rs.428 as mentioned on the product cover. But I was charged Rs.222 extra for this product. Hence I contacted the Flipkart customer care via email on 29 Jan 2018 to notify this. An incident ticket was opened with reference – IN18012921532908285822. On 30 Jan 2018 (Today), Flipkart Customer support representative asked me to provide the proof that I was charged above MRP. When I submitted the proofs (Invoice copy and image of the MRP price label on the product), then they simply did not take any action to refund the extra amount charged from me and closed the incident ticket.
It is requested that proper action be taken to make Flipkart provide me the refund of Rs.222 that I had paid more than the MRP (this is excluding the shipping charge) and to stop this fraudulent/misleading pricing followed by Flipkart and its sellers. Order ID – OD111331829135507000
