On the return journey, we were stuck in traffic. The driver proposed an alternate route for ?3,500 per vehicle. Instead of acting responsibly, the GT Holidays coordinator wasted time bargaining and finally refused, claiming the traffic would clear. It didn’t. We missed our flight because of this negligence.
As a result, we had to:
• Book a last-minute hotel near the airport
• Buy new flight tickets at an inflated price
This careless handling caused a financial loss of over ?1 lakh.
To make things worse, the coordinator had zero knowledge of the airline’s no-show refund process. We had to contact the airline ourselves. Although a refund was processed, it was not the full amount, despite the airline clearly stating the eligible refund. The money was credited to GT Holidays’ account, and it took repeated follow-ups just to receive the partial refund.
This entire ordeal reflects poor coordination, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for customers. Absolutely unacceptable. Would not recommend GT Holidays to anyone.
